FARMERS' MARKET
Farmers' Market

The Ely Renaissance Society is organizing a 2008 Farmers' Market at the
Renaissance Village. The current plans are to open the market on
Saturdays starting August 30, 2008 and continuing through October 11,
2008.

The objective of the market will be to provide space for local vendors
to sell fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, baked goods, canned products, eggs,
confections, plants, flowers, etc., that may not be available in local stores.
Fresh produce can be organic or non-organic. No crafts will be allowed to
be sold at this Farmers' Market.

All gardeners, or anyone who has access to fresh fruits and vegetables or
other farm products, are welcome to participate. A greater variety of
products will assure a successful market and result in a day of fun for both
buyers and sellers.

If you choose not to be a vendor but have a garden or fruit trees, you may
donate the produce or fruit to the Ely Renaissance Society to sell at the
market as a fundraiser. Volunteers will even pick it for you.

The Ely Renaissance Village is located at 400 Ely Street, Ely, NV 89301
Hours will be 10 am to 4 pm Saturdays, August 30 through October 11.
Rental spaces are approximately 8’ x 10’ at $10 each. (If a vendor commits
to all 7 Saturdays, the fee will be reduced to $5 per space per Saturday,
payable in advance.) We have a limited number of tables and shaded
areas, so vendors may need to furnish their own tables and umbrellas or
tents. Please check when you register.
